Food pages, allergen facts and choking notes on Lokmini are based on sources from trusted institutions. Every piece of content is submitted for review by a qualified expert in the field. This page explains how content is prepared, who reviews it and when it is renewed.
The reviewer line shows the signature
Content is first prepared from sources. A qualified expert in the field then reviews and signs it. The signature appears in the reviewer line on the page, with the expert's name, title and review date. A page without a reviewer line has not yet completed expert review. The information on that page is based on the institutions in its source list.
Who signs what?
- A dietitian signs each food card.
- A dietitian and a pediatric allergist sign allergen content together.
- A feeding therapist or a pediatrician signs choking content.
Allergen and choking information directly affects a baby's safety. That is why these two areas are reviewed separately by a clinical expert in the field.
How long is a signature valid?
A signature is valid for 12 months. When it expires, the content is reviewed again and the signature is renewed. This limit exists because guidelines are updated over time.
A signature lapses when the content changes, because the expert approved only the text they reviewed. Once the changed text is reviewed, the reviewer line returns to the page with the new date.
How are sources shown?
Each page ends with the sources its content is based on. Readers can see for themselves which guideline or study supports each statement.
How do I request a correction?
If you spot an error on a page, email your correction request to merhaba@lokmini.com. Including the page address and the information you want corrected speeds up the review.
An expert in the relevant field reviews each request. When a correction is published, the page's update date changes.
